The Church of Carrefour

The Church of Carrefour started out as a humble "preaching post" with about a dozen believers meeting in a home. Within just a few months, they grew to the point that they had to rent a small place for their services. Today, they are 200 members strong and continuing to grow.

Moscow Christian Church, one of GVCM's long-time sponsors, graciously donated the money to build a church building in Carrefour when they began to outgrow their rented space. The new church building, dedicated in Summer 2006, has brought even more people from the surrounding area into the congregation, so the church continues to grow.

Carrefour is a suburb of Port-au-Prince, the capital city. It is one of the heaviest populated cities of Haiti. Promiscuity and immorality has given Carrefour a repulsive reputation. The word of the Lord need to be preached in an area of such great spiritual needs. Please pray for the church of Carrefour and bless them in any way you can.
