Nan Baptiste

The church at Nan Baptiste is a church of several hundred believers under the leader of Pastor St. Pierre Joseph and his wife. The church also includes a school with over 200 students. For the last seven years, the church has hosted an orphanage of about 85 children.

In 2000, Shelton Christian Church of Shelton, Washington, partnered with the church at Nan Baptiste, sending mission teams to visit and provide medical treatment for the orphans throughout this time. Conditions in Haiti have prevented the Shelton Christian teams from sending teams recently, but there are plans to return in 2006, God willing.

Pastor St. Pierre not only pastors the church at Nan Baptiste, but also serves as the Regional Pastor for GVCM in the Northwest District. He is also an active church planter, having started eight other church in the district, including the city of Bombardopolis.
